Singita Serengeti House in the vast 350,000 acre private Grumeti Reserve is one of the most exclusive private houses in Africa and perfect for those who value privacy and luxury in the African bush. Located on the western side of the Serengeti game viewing in this area is incredible.
Like all of the Singita Grumeti lodges, In addition to the safari game drive activities there are spa and gym facilities and Hot Air Ballooning can be arranged. Guests can also visit the Environmental Education Centre which educates students on the importance of the Serengeti Ecosystem and the reason to have these protected areas. Also, a visit to the SGF Canine Unit to meet the handlers and learn about the anti-poaching unit and its works to protect this region in the Serengeti. The lodge is surrounded by the great migration, usually between late May and July, but also has good populations of resident game outside this season. Guided bush walks (for guests 16 and older) provide a great way to experiences the wilderness of this area.
There are 2 spacious luxurious suites in the main house and 2 separate suites located either side of the main house. Each air-conditioned suite features a fireplace and ample decking and en-suite facilities with a bath and shower. There are both indoor and outdoor dining and lounge areas, a 25 metre infinity pool and a private tennis court. There is a dedicated chef, private vehicle, guide and full house staff service, computer and internet facilities.
