FAQS

There will be so many questions you will have before embarking on one of our journeys but please DO NOT WORRY; we are here to help! It seems futile to try and summarise all the different questions you may have because the answers will be different for almost every country, season and experience so below we have just put the simplest and most obvious places to start. Everything else will be given to you for your trip and in plenty of time so there are no last minute panics!

Travel Insurance

It is so important you take out, prior to confirming your booking, comprehensive travel, medical, cancellation, curtailment and default insurance for the duration of your trip. You become liable for cancellation penalties immediately on confirmation of your booking.  Due to the remote areas through which you may travel, it is vital that you are covered for emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances. It’s important that you speak with an insurance advisor and read the policy wording in full before going ahead with the policy as many insurance policies have exclusions for certain scenarios. Make sure you pay attention to age limits, trip duration, trip value, Covid-19 cover and pre-existing medical conditions and be aware that certain activities may attract an additional premium or be excluded entirely (for example, winter sports, travel at high altitudes, scuba diving)

VACCINATION & HEALTH

You should consult your doctor or travel clinic at least four to six weeks prior to travel. They will have access to the most up-to-date requirements for your destination but WE are also here to help iron out any questions or recent changes to requirements. They will also be able to advise on what is most appropriate for you personally, taking into account your medical history and any pre-existing conditions. This is important as some vaccinations aren’t recommended for everyone.

A good place to start are the following 2 websites which will help you understand the what and the why?

VISAS & PASSPORTS

First and foremost, we are here to help you. It is essential that you have all the correct requirements for travel and we will make sure you are furnished with all the appropriate information in good time.
